These guides are in English and Tagalog for now.

  1. Choose your languageEnglish, Español, Tagalog or ไทย. You can change it later in Settings.
  2. Our terms, in shortThree plain points: what you share stays in your family, we do not sell your data or train anyone else's AI on your memories, and accounts that harm others are removed. Read the full Terms and Privacy Policy from this screen, then tap I agree.
  3. Your profileYour first and last name, and a photo so your family recognise you. Your date of birth is optional here, but once saved it cannot be changed, so enter it carefully. Under-18s use their initials instead of a photo.
  4. A quick check that it is youA one-time age check that keeps fake accounts out and keeps the experience right for children. You can do it now with a short video selfie, a $0 card check (you are not charged) or an ID document, or tap Verify later in Settings.
  5. Your familyStart a new family and give it a name, or Join an existing family with the invite code a relative sent you. You can also skip this and do it later. The next guide covers it in detail.
  6. PermissionsThe camera and microphone are for recording video messages; notifications tell you when a capsule unlocks or a relative needs you. Tap Allow All Permissions, or continue without and allow them later in your phone's settings.
  7. You're all setA short tour of the main screens follows. Swipe through it or skip it.

The beta notice

Once, at the start, you will see a short note about the beta. In brief: this is a test, our team reviews what is posted so we can find what is broken, and content may be reset when we launch properly. Please do not post anything private or anything you would be sad to lose. Everyone who tests now keeps a Beta Reviewer badge on their account.

If you are under 18

  • If you are under 16, a parent or guardian has to approve you joining a family. The app asks for their details after your profile.
  • You can read your family's posts straight away. To post or comment, a parent or guardian who is a confirmed member of your family needs to accept responsibility for your account first.
  • If something is wrong, Get help in the app is always there, and what you tell us is not shared with your guardian.
